Sometimes you just want something to read. On the Articles page at https://jmtechpower.com/articles there is now a Surprise me button next to the RSS and Atom links. Press it and you land on a random article.

How it works

• Only published articles. The pick comes from articles anyone can already read; drafts are never chosen.
• Stays in your category. If you have picked a category chip such as Guides first, Surprise me only picks from that category.
• A new pick every time. Each press chooses again, so go back and press it once more for another article.
• In Chinese the button reads 随便看看.

Good to know

• You do not need an account, and the random pick itself is not saved anywhere.
• The button hides when the list in front of you is empty, so it never leads nowhere.
• If a category has no articles any more, you are simply taken back to the Articles list.
• You can also bookmark https://jmtechpower.com/articles/random to get a random article straight away.
